Senior Editor - Nursing
This position can be located in our Danvers, MA office, our Brentwood, TN office or remotely. HealthLeaders Media is seeking a Senior Editor-Nursing; an experienced, versatile communicator and writer who will be a leading voice in the industry. This position heads our coverage of nurse leadership and the development of products for the nurse leadership community. It includes event, online, and multimedia responsibilities.

Senior Editor - Nursing Responsibilities:

  • Serve as one of the leading journalists for HealthLeaders Media
  • Write a column for HealthLeadersMedia.com
  • Recruit for and moderate nurse leadership events and conferences

Job Requirements:

HealthLeaders Media is seeking a proven healthcare business journalist and communicator professional for the position of Leadership Programs Editor. This position plays a leading a leading role in recruitment and engagement for HealthLeaders Media’s leadership programs for C-level healthcare leaders. This requires a candidate who understands the dynamic, shifting healthcare industry and can create content to engage leaders from the nation’s most respected health systems. Leadership Programs Editor Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a contact database of current and potential leadership members

Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for building a customer base, in an assigned territory, by acquiring new customers and selling product to existing customers via the phone and email. This person will be responsible for understanding the customer base and applicable HCPro products/services for that specific customer base. Products and services include (but are not limited to): live events, broadcast events, memberships, online learning and open registration classroom training

Essential Job Functions:
• Grow customer base by acquiring new customers and supporting existing customers via outbound campaign efforts.
• Obtain a fundamental understanding of key products and services within the markets in order to conduct quality conversations and provide information in a consultative way.
• Work with internal stakeholders (e.g. Marketing, Editorial) to provide feedback from customers.
• Partner with other sales team members to refer appropriate opportunities/leads in an efficient and effective manner as more fully outlined in the annual incentive compensation plan.
• Partner with other Inside Sales Representatives to leverage relationships, information, and coverage of the markets.
• Manage multiple campaign lists and databases/programs. Using tools such as; salesforce.com
• Provide online demonstrations of certain products via web conferencing (i.e. Go To Meeting.)
• Maintain minimum outbound call requirement and sales goals as set by management.
• Some travel to key trade shows/conferences.

Qualifications:
• 1-2 years inside sales experience
• AS or equivalent; BA/BS preferred
• Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a number of reporting documents to drive effective business decisions

Product Manager, EHS
Business and Legal Resources Inc., a leading publisher of Environmental, Safety and Human Resource training and compliance solutions, has an opportunity for a Product Manager in its Environmental, Health and Safety group. This position is located in BLR’s Old Saybrook, CT office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet with customers and prospects to understand their needs and workflows. Provide in-depth market, industry and competitive analysis and positioning for assigned products.
  • Evaluate new ideas and proposals, in conjunction with members of the EHS team.
  • Drive key proposals through the product development process. This includes idea generation, market and competitor analysis, business case creation, and, if approved, drafting user requirements from market and customer research for the Web development team.
  • Managing the product lifecycle including authoring marketing requirement documents, product testing/release/launch plans and tactical activities.
  • Develop and implement a go-to-market plan for new products, working with all departments to execute.
  • Document customer use cases for all assigned products through market research and customer interactions (e.g. focus groups, interviews, surveys, etc.).
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to help them, build sales tools and training materials that communicate key benefits, develop innovative marketing programs and tradeshow/event campaigns, create messaging and content for product collateral, develop pricing and packaging strategies and conduct product training and be available as-needed for Sales support
  • Track and analyze product performance against financial and market share goals Identify, analyze and implement partner relationships for the product line.
  • Collect customer and prospective customer requirements, conduct market research, oversee launch activities such as product positioning, internal training, beta programs, and sales enablement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 3 year’s experience
  • Familiarity with Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health Regulations a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; including presentation skills to large and diverse audiences
