Child labor. Employers with minor employees must post the number of working hours required each day, the number of hours actually worked, hours of beginning and ending work, and mealtime hours, for each minor employee (VT Stat. Tit. 21 Sec. 442).
Family leave. Covered employers must post a notice informing employees of their rights and obligations under the Parental and Family Leave Law, including short-term family leave. Employers with 15 or more employees are covered by the family leave provisions; employers with 10 or more employees are covered by the parental leave provisions (VT Stat. Tit. 21 Sec. 472; Sec. 472a).
Safety and health. Employers must post Safety and Health Protection on the Job, an explanation of the Vermont Occupational Safety and Health Administration (VOSHA), and its employee protections. Also, citations for violations under VOSHA must be posted at or near the place of violation (VT Stat. Tit. 21 Sec. 225).
Sexual harassment. All employers must prominently post a notice informing employees of their rights under the state's law against sexual harassment. Employers must also post a copy of their sexual harassment policy and complaint procedure (VT Stat. Tit. 21 Sec. 495h).
