Wyoming Notices (Posting): What you need to know

Wyoming requires that employers post a number of notices in the workplace informing employees of their rights and obligations under certain employment laws. The posters must be placed conspicuously, permanently, and in enough places to be easily seen by employees as they enter and exit the facility.

Wage and hour. Anyone who operates a factory, mill, workshop, railroad, mine, refinery, or any other type of facility for the production of oil and gas must post a notice in at least two locations outlining the wage and hour law (WY Stat. Sec. 27-4-101).

Unemployment benefits. All employers are required to post information on unemployment insurance benefit rights. WY Stat. Sec. 27-3-401(b)).

Discrimination. Employers covered by the Fair Employment Practices Act must post “Discrimination Is Against the Law,” provided by the state Department of Employment, advising workers of their rights and employer obligations under the Act (WY Stat. Sec. 27-9-101et seq.).
