The Kansas Act Against Discrimination (KAAD) prohibits any employer with four or more workers, or any employment agency or labor organization, from printing or circulating (or causing to be printed or circulated) any advertisement, statement, or publication that expresses, directly or indirectly, any limitation, specification, or discrimination as to race, religion, color, sex, disability, national origin, ancestry, military status, or genetic test results unless based on a bona fide occupational qualification (KS Stat. Sec. 44-1002, Sec. 44-1009).
The Kansas Age Discrimination in Employment Act (KADEA) prohibits employers with four or more employees from discrimination in employment against persons 40 years of age or older (KS Rev. Stat. Sec. 44-1111et seq.).
