Rules. There are many mobile source regulatory requirements implemented nationally by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that impact mobile sources in Indiana. In addition, the state has established additional programs to implement optional federal programs and state-specific requirements to control mobile source emissions and make progress toward attainment of all the national ambient air quality standards.

Administration and enforcement. IDEM's Office of Air Quality is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the mobile source requirements being implemented in Indiana.
