Tennessee has adopted the federal hazardous waste storage facility requirements for containers, containment buildings, hazardous waste storage tanks, and surface impoundments and has fee requirements for hazardous waste storage facilities. The state follows the federal rules for generators storing hazardous waste on-site without a permit and adds a few more stringent provisions in connection with records for tanks and conditionally exempt small quantity generators (CESQGs) ...
