Arkansas has an EAP for state employees designed to provide short-term counseling services, work-life support,and legal and financial guidance to help employees and their families handle concerns constructively before they become major issues. Areas of assistance include confidential, free counseling, legal assistance and support, financial information and resources, and personalized work-life solutions for childcare, eldercare, moving, and more. Employers that participate in a drug-free workplace program will receive at least a 5 percent reduction on workers’ compensation premiums provided they participate in Arkansas’s Voluntary Program for Drug-Free Workplaces.
