Download Now Drivers of vehicles in motion or temporarily halted at traffic signals or stop signs may not use wireless communication devices to compose, send, or receive text messages, instant messages, e-mails, or other electronic messages or to access the Internet (ND Cent. Code Sec. 39-06.1-06et seq.).
Violators of this law will be charged with a moving violation and will be fined.
This law does not apply to those emergency messages or voice messages or to the use of global positioning systems.
