The Washington Department of Labor and Industries' (L&I) Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) administers and enforces workplace safety and health rules.
Accident report hotline. All employers in Washington covered by workplace safety and health rules must report a fatality, probable death, or hospitalization incident that involves any employee within 8 hours of the incident by calling L&I, or the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) at 800-321-6742.
