May 09, 2008 -- Married mothers employed full time are more likely to do household activities and provide childcare on an average day than are married fathers employed full time, according to a report by the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics.

May 09, 2008 -- An Anaheim, California-based owner and operator of restaurants and banquet facilities has agreed to pay $625,000 to settle a U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) lawsuit accusing the company of subjecting female employees to sexual harassment.
Refinery Receives Penalty After OSHA Conducts Safety Inspection
May 09, 2008 -- OSHA has proposed $330,000 in fines against an oil refinery in Oregon, Ohio, for alleged willful and serious violations of federal workplace safety standards.
