BLR Introduces New Spanish Safety Training

Designed to make training easier and more effective for Spanish-speaking employees, this new product provides safety tips and reminders in Spanish to prevent accidents and injuries and helps employers avoid costly OSHA fines and higher workers’ compensation costs.

More than 50 reproducible safety training handouts, handy reference materials for employers to reinforce training, are designed to be used with the 7-Minute Safety Trainer English version (sold separately) to assist in training a bilingual group but can be used as a self-standing resource as well.

The handouts support and complement the training presentations, handouts, and quizzes in the corresponding English training session but in the Spanish-speaking employee’s own language. One side of the handout is in Spanish; the other side is in English.

Training topics cover OSHA’s most frequently violated standards including hazard communication, machine safety, confined spaces, lockout/tagout, electrical safety, material handling, fire safety, emergency response, workplace hazards and much more.

Handouts may be:

  • Reproduced as posters or overheads and displayed throughout the session to emphasize key points
  • Copied and distributed to participants before the session so they can follow along
  • Copied and distributed to participants after the session as a reminder of the key points
  • Copied and distributed as payroll stuffers

Subscribers to the product will also get five new topics each quarter. The product sells for $199 and is renewable annually. Revised topics keep the product up-to-date when regulations change.
