Enthusiasm and team spirit singled out
The winners were recently announced in the Hartford Business Journal. The Journal wrote that the winning companies showed something beyond providing their customers with great products and services. “All of them have created working environments where employees are motivated, empowered, productive and happy – a place where enthusiasm, hard work and team spirit lead to a powerful synergy…”
Two part survey
All of the companies in this year’s competition participated in a comprehensive two-part survey on personnel policies, leadership development, and communication that was conducted by the Best companies Group. ModernThink LLC, an employee management consulting firm, then reviewed the survey information to rank the companies on the quality of their workplaces.
“To be named one of the Best Places to Work in Connecticut is a great honor,” said Bob Brady, BLR’s president and founder. “It’s a tribute to the hard work of our managers, who have striven to make BLR a place which gives our employees an opportunity to have fun at work - and develop their talents providing interesting compliance and training solutions for businesses.
BLR competed in the medium category (25 -199 employees).
