Old Saybrook, CT, February 26, 2009—The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) has selected two training and compliance solutions produced by Business & Legal Reports, Inc. (BLR®) as finalists in the Association’s 24th Annual CODiE Awards. The SIIA CODiE Awards recognize outstanding achievement and vision in the software, digital information, and education technology industries.

HR.BLR.com® was chosen as a finalist in two categories: Best Online Government Information Service and Best Solution Integrating Content into Workflow. The BLR Employee Training Center, Training.BLR.com, was named a finalist in the category of Best Workforce Training Solution. Finalists were chosen from 850 entries submitted by more than 600 companies.

"The competition is particularly steep this year during the 24th Annual SIIA CODiE Awards, making selection as a CODiE Finalist a real achievement,” said SIIA President Ken Wasch. "All the companies on this year's list of CODiE Finalists should feel justifiably proud of their accomplishment in making it to this stage."

”BLR is a leader in helping companies reduce the risk and cost related to complying with employment (DOL), safety (OSHA), and environmental (EPA) national and state legal requirements,” said Robert L. Brady, CEO of BLR. “The recognition as a CODiE finalist by our industry peers for HR.BLR.com and the BLR Employee Training Center is both rewarding and a validation of the quality online services we offer.”
