Alaska Notices (Posting): What you need to know

Alaska requires that employers post a number of notices informing workers of their rights and obligations under various employment laws. The notices must be placed conspicuously enough to be seen easily by employees as they enter or exit the workplace. Most of the required state posters are available from the state Division of Labor Standards and Safety: http://labor.state.ak.us.
Child Labor Law. The Summary of Alaska Child Labor Law poster provides a summary of work restrictions for minors (AK Stat. Sec. 23.10.325 et seq.). Although employers are not required by law to post this notice, the state Department of Labor and Workforce Development recommends that they do so.

Emergency numbers. Emergency phone numbers (such as the fire department, health department, police, ambulance, etc.) must be prominently posted in several locations.
Health and safety. Employers whose employees are or may be exposed to a toxic or hazardous substance have to display It's Your Right to Know, which contains provisions of the state's “right to know” law, and Safety and Health Protection on the Job, regarding Alaska's safety and health law. AK Stat. Sec. 18.60.068
