Idaho Advertising: What you need to know

Idaho law prohibits all employers, employment agencies, and labor organizations from printing or publishing (or causing to be printed or published) any notice or advertisement relating to employment that indicates any preference, limitation, specification, or discrimination based on age, race, color, sex, religion, national origin, or disability (unless the disability, even with a reasonable accommodation, prevents the person from performing the job) However, one of these characteristics may be mentioned if it is a bona fide occupational qualification (BFOQ) for employment (ID Code Sec. 67-5909).
