• Rules. Indiana has adopted and incorporated by reference the federal NESHAP standards, including many of the NESHAPs for source categories, also known as maximum achievable control technology (MACT) standards. Refer to the national section HAZARDOUS AIR POLLUTANTS for more information.
• Administration and enforcement. IDEM's OAQ administers and enforces the hazardous air pollutant rules in Indiana.
