PLAN BEFORE YOU AUDIT
Before beginning an environmental compliance audit at any business or facility, consult with the company's attorney on precautions to take in preparing the audit report. Clearly defined company goals and commitments to address problems revealed by the audit should be in place before creating a record of company compliance.
