Rules. Illinois has adopted training rules that are stricter than federal rules for concentrated animal feeding operation (CAFO) operators, lead paint abatement personnel, medical waste storage facilities, private pesticide applicators, and noncommunity public water system, public wastewater treatment system, certain solid waste facilities, and industrial waste treatment system operators.
