Rules. As with federal law, Maryland allows certain information to be considered confidential and protected from disclosure when being submitted to MDE as a condition of a permit or regulation. Contact the specific branch of the agency to which information is submitted for specific procedures that may have to be followed to maintain confidential treatment of information.
