Rules. Arizona administers the Brownfields Assistance Program, which includes the VRP, to help property owners redevelop brownfields properties and contaminated properties in general. The VRP provides for expedited review of cleanup plans and oversight for remediation plans, while other brownfields programs provide funding for assessment and cleanup activities.

Administration and enforcement. The staff in ADEQ's VRP in the Waste Programs Division administers the state voluntary cleanup and financial assistance programs.
