· Rules. Alaska has adopted by reference the federal hazardous waste container requirements, including the empty container standards and the organic air emissions standards.

· Administration and enforcement. DEC does not have an EPA-authorized hazardous waste program although it maintains a hazardous waste information line. EPA’s Region 10 office administers and enforces the hazardous waste container rules in Alaska.
