• Rules. Missouri incorporates by reference the federal rules. There are no additional state provisions.
Owners and operators of hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal facilities that use tanks must comply with additional permit application requirements and pay several state permit and facility fees. The state's more stringent permit standards and fees are reviewed in the state section TSDF PERMITS.
• Administration and enforcement. The Missouri Department of Natural Resources' (DNR) Division of Environmental Quality administers and enforces the hazardous waste tank requirements in Missouri.
