Rules. Oklahoma has adopted by reference the federal hazardous waste treatment requirements, including those for generators treating hazardous waste on-site. The state has added more stringent state hazardous waste treatment rules in connection with permits and fees for hazardous waste treatment facilities.

Administration and enforcement. DEQ's Land Protection Division administers and enforces the hazardous waste treatment rules in Oklahoma.
