Rules. New Hampshire has incorporated by reference the federal rules for land treatment. New Hampshire requires owners and operators of land treatment facilities in the state to comply with the federal land treatment facility rules. In addition, owners and operators of hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal facilities (TSDFs) that engage in land treatment activities must comply with additional permit application requirements and pay several state permit and facility fees. Administration and enforcement. DES's Hazardous Waste Management Bureau administers and enforces the rules for hazardous waste land treatment facilities in New Hampshire.
