Rules. Oklahoma allows for the chemical alteration of corrosive wastes known as elementary neutralization of wastes. Oklahoma adopts by reference the federal rules and exemptions for neutralizing hazardous waste under 40 CFR 260.10, including the federal facility permit exemption under 40 CFR 264.

Administration and enforcement. DEQ administers and enforces the federal hazardous waste neutralization rules in Oklahoma.
