Rules. Indiana has adopted the federal requirements for hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal facilities (TSDFs). The state also has additional state requirements for biennial reports, contingency plans, manifests, hazardous waste determination and state wastes, financial responsibility, facility permits, fees, and land disposal of hazardous waste.

Administration and enforcement. IDEM's Compliance and Response Branch administers and enforces the TSDF responsibility requirements in Indiana.
