• Rules. Delaware regulates tidal wetlands at the state level under the state Wetlands Act. Nontidal wetlands are not directly regulated at the state level. Lands under tidal and nontidal waterways are regulated under the Subaqueous Lands Act. Delaware also regulates activities in the coastal zone of the state.
