Child labor. Employers of minors must post a notice of weekly work hours, beginning and quitting hours, and mealtimes. Minors may be employed only during the hours stated in the notice (ND Cent. Code Sec. 34-07-15).
Wage and hour. All employers must post a notice summarizing the provisions of the North Dakota Wage and Hour Act (ND Cent. Code Sec. 34-06-04).
Workers' compensation. Employers must post conspicuously and in sufficient numbers copies of a certificate of premium payment showing compliance with the workers' compensation law. The toll-free telephone number used to report unsafe working conditions and actual or suspected workers' compensation fraud must also be included (ND Cent. Code Sec. 65-04-04).
Smoking. North Dakota’s smoke-free law prohibits smoking in all enclosed areas of public places and places of employment.
