Minimum wage/wage and hour laws. All employers covered by the federal Fair Labor Standards Act and state and political subdivisions must post the notice State of Ohio Minimum Wage, which summarizes minimum wage rates, overtime rates, handicapped rates, persons exempt from the minimum wage rates, and permanent records the employer must keep (OH Rev. Code Sec. 4111.09).
Employers must also provide each newly hired employee with the employer's name, address, telephone number, and other contact information.
Employees must also be given updates if any of this information changes (OH Rev. Code Sec. 4111.14).
