Wyoming Right to Know/ Hazard Communication: What you need to know

Wyoming has adopted the federal hazard communication standard (HCS) by reference (WY Emp. Rule 1910.1200). The HCS, or worker “right-to-know” laws, regulate how information about workplace chemical hazards is communicated to employees. Wyoming is a so-called “state plan” state--which means it has its own work safety program, the Wyoming Occupational Health and Safety Act (WY Stat. Sec. 27-11-101et seq.) and has received federal authorization to enforce it. The state act governs both private and public workplaces.
