Alabama Advertising: What you need to know

The Alabama Age Discrimination in Employment Act prohibits employers with 20 or more employees from discriminating against employees and applicants who are 40 years of age or older. The prohibition includes printing (or causing to be printed or published) any notice or advertisement relating to employment, referral for employment, apprenticeship, or other training that indicates any preference, limitation, or specification (AL Code Sec. 25-1-20et seq.).
