Alaska law prohibits employers and employment agencies from printing or circulating (or causing to be printed or circulated) any statement, advertisement, or publication that expresses, directly or indirectly, a specification, limitation, or discrimination based on race, religion, color, national origin, sex, age, physical or mental disability, marital status, changes in marital status, pregnancy, or parenthood (AK Stat. Sec. 18.80.220(3)et seq.).
There is an exception if the specification is based on a bona fide occupational qualification.
