Nebraska Advertising: What you need to know

The Nebraska Fair Employment Practice Act prohibits employers with 15 or more employees from printing or publishing (or causing to be printed or published) any notice or advertisement relating to employment that indicates any preference, limitation, specification, or discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, marital status, or national origin unless based on a bona fide occupational qualification for employment (NE Rev. Stat. Sec. 48-1104).

The Act Prohibiting Unjust Discrimination in Employment Because of Age prohibits discrimination in employment against persons who are at least 40 but less than 70 years of age (NE Rev. Stat. Sec. 48-1004).
