Nevada Advertising: What you need to know

The Nevada Fair Employment Practices Act prohibits public and private employers with 15 or more employees from printing or circulating any notice or advertisement indicating any preference, limitation, specification, or discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, or national origin (NV Rev. Stat. Sec. 613.340).

However, such a preference, specification, limitation, or discrimination may be expressed when religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, physical, mental or visual condition, or national origin is a bona fide occupational qualification (BFOQ) for employment.
