The Department of Management Services Human Resources Agency coordinates and manages the state employee telecommuting program (Fla. Stat. § 110.171). However, not all job positions are suitable for telecommuting, and not all employees are entitled to participate based on performance and conduct evaluations. Each agency determines which positions are eligible, establishes internal procedures, and must give equal consideration to employees in career service and exempt positions.
