Oregon's Workforce Investment Board (OWIB). The OWIB is designed to assist and advise the governor on matters relating to Oregon's workforce system and is made up of leaders who represent private businesses, labor organizations, and state and local government agencies.
WorkSource Centers. In Oregon, a variety of workforce services and service referrals are provided through one-stop locations called WorkSource Centers. Service specialists are available to assist both individuals looking for employment and employers in using a variety of services such as job referrals, adult education vocational rehabilitation, career counseling, job interview training, aptitude assessments, job training, veteran's services, assistance with resumes and cover letters, and electronic job searching.
