Alaska has adopted the federal workplace fall protection in construction requirements by reference (8 Alaska Administrative Code (AAC) 61.1010).
The Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development/Occupational Safety and Health (AKOSH) Section administers and enforces workplace safety and health rules for private and public sector workplaces in the state.
