Washington Emergency Action Plans: What you need to know


Washington has adopted standards for emergency action plans (WAC 296-24-55001 and WAC 296-24-567) that are identical to the federal standards. In addition, the state requires that specific occupancies conduct emergency evacuation, shelter-in-place, and fire drills at specified frequencies.
