Hawaii has adopted by reference the federal regulations for electrical safety in general industry workplaces (HAR 12-89.1-1). No additional state requirements apply.
The Department of Labor and Industrial Relations/Hawaii Occupational Safety and Health administers and enforces safety and health rules in private and public sector workplaces in the state.
