Michigan Material Handling - General: What you need to know

Michigan has adopted the federal material-handling requirements for general industry workplaces, and has adopted its own rules that are stricter than federal rules for powered industrial trucks (forklifts); crawler, locomotive, truck, overhead, and gantry cranes; and for slings. Michigan has adopted the federal requirements for derricks (MAC r. 408.11301) and for rim wheel servicing (MAC r. 408.17235 to 408.17237).
