· Rules. Indiana's hazard communication requirements are part of the IOSH Act, which governs both private and public sector workplaces. Indiana has incorporated by reference the federal Hazard Communication Standard, part of the federal Occupational Safety and Health Act. · Administration and enforcement. DOL's IOSHA administers and enforces all workplace safety and health rules, including worker right to know.
