Maryland has adopted by reference the federal standard for eye and face protection at COMAR 09.12.31. Maryland employers are subject to requirements that are identical to the federal rules.
The Maryland Occupational Safety and Health (MOSH) Program covers state employers in a business, trade, commercial, or industrial activity that have one or more employees, including state and local governments.
Maryland's state plan is administered by the Maryland Occupational Safety and Health (MOSH).
