There are no requirements in Wyoming for employers to establish occupational safety and health committees in general industry or construction workplaces.
An employer that has established an effective safety and health program certified by the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services’ Workers’ Safety and Compensation Division (WSC) must establish either a safety committee or designate a safety coordinator. WSC administers the safety program and safety committee requirements under workers’ compensation rules.
An employer that has established an effective safety and health program certified by WSC must establish either a risk assessment (safety) committee or designate a safety coordinator.
